Word On The Crescent
In a recent interview with Sway of MTV at the Inauguration Ball held in DC over this past week, Kanye revealed that he is rapping again. Good news!
Before the interview ended, Kanye wanted to make a call for an invitation to one of Los Angeles’ longest running and acclaimed underground Hip Hop radio shows. He also wanted to announce his comeback to rap.
“I gotta come to the show. I was in L.A. checking it out. You don’t invite me to the show no more,” he told Sway Calloway before the camera cut to another portion of the show.
“‘The Wake Up Show’?” asked a seemingly puzzled Sway. To this, ‘Ye replied that he was speaking about The Wake Up Show, and added that he is back to spitting bars.
“I gotta get my rap battle. You know, I’m rappin’ again!”

New Jon Hope Makes It Better!
Jon Hope is one of my most anticipated this year (and again the Ahmad effect comes into play), so when I saw there was a new single on his MySpace I had to get it. First listen I knew it was getting posted, and it’s been on repeat since.
